English is not a foreign language. It is a language spoken by most of the people in various countries and can also be called as the universal language as it stands at the position for the mostly spoken language in the world. Well, as we come to the topic my answer to the question is yes… because the learning of a new language has many merits and barely any limitations. We all gain through learning a new language, there’s nothing we lose.
Now the first advantage is that, it plays a crucial role in getting to know about a different culture as a language says all about its culture. For Ex-French is a language which tells us about the French lifestyle and brims us with knowledge about its culture. Secondly, the person who knows a foreign language can act as a translation tool between two languages, for Ex- if a person wants to read an article which is in a foreign language, the other person can help him to translate the language into the local language and vice versa. Now a problem faced by many people is that when they travel to different countries they are unable to communicate with the people over there. Why? Because there are some countries in the world which can not speak in English. So, if a person knows a foreign language he or she can travel to more places having wider choices.
The most important fact is that people get attracted to a person who has many merits, one of the most important prospect in this is knowing how to speak a foreign language. The person who can speak multiple languages can also do quite a no. of things – this is the mindset of today’s generation. Well a person can expand his or her business through deals with different companies from all over the world. Here , the language again plays a crucial role for communication purposes.Through these new languages we can also adapt a new way of living as a language tells about its culture and the more we know the better it becomes for us as we get more knowledge.
Lastly, the foreign language helps to develop a position in a multi-national campaigns where people meet and talk to each other, exchange ideas and share lifestyles. ‘Language’ is a word with many people revolving around it as this word keeps the people tied to each other through its force. The deeper we get into it, the vaster it becomes. Learning a new language sometimes leads to the less usage and neglecting the usage of our national language which becomes a greater issue to handle with. Learn a new language, teach others, achieve your goal and be the boss.
